Company History
Pure Water was established in 1993 by Mr. Farouq Ajjouri and has since grown to build a reputation for consistent quality delivery of products and services for water and wastewater industries throughout Jordan and Iraq.
In 2000, Mr. Farouq Ajjouri retired, handing over the ownership and management of Pure Water to the next generation of the Ajjouri family who continues to develop the business based on a strategy of sustainable growth and always remaining true to Pure Water Group’s values.
After initial success in the Jordan market, the Company expanded into the UAE market in 2001, originally as Pure Water Technology under the Management of Mr. Dia Ajjouri.
In 2003, having identified the water industry as a key growth area, Pure Water Technology sought to expand its service offering by forming a joint venture with the operation specialists Water & Electricity Technology Company (WETCO). This joint venture successfully leveraged the expertise and resources of both parties to provide a one-stop shop for design, build and operate (DBO) services for water and wastewater treatment plants. In 2009, Pure Water acquired 100% ownership of WETCO, which was then re-branded Pure Water.
In 2009, Pure Water successfully awarded and completed a major EPC project with ADSSC, The success of the contract has been followed by further major Design and Build contracts in the water and wastewater sector. Pure Water operates throughout the UAE.

Pure water is a total water and wastewater solutions provider focused on delivering best-in-class technologies and services to our customers. Our activities rely on three main pillars: i) EPC services for Water and Wastewater to deliver projects and services to municipal and industrial sectors, ii) Specialty Products that supply a complete line of equipment and engineered products for the water treatment industry, and iii) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) provides contract operations and associated services for water and wastewater treatment systems.
Within the Water industry, Pure Water offers a fully integrated MEICA package to include complete project management, design, software development, and systems integration.
Our solutions-orientated design teams undertake extensive collaboration with our Innovation team to ensure we remain abreast of developments in the water and power industries. New technologies based on whole life cost, sustainability, and safety are implemented.

Our staff experience varies between design, procurement, construction, installation, and operation to provide a diverse range of services for both public and private sectors that cover most water and wastewater treatment processes and plants in use today, ranging from small lagoon treatment systems to large advanced water & wastewater treatment facilities.

We are a qualified Contractor from Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) on workgroup No. 2101000: Water/Wastewater Treatment EPC, and workgroup No. 2100120: R.O. Units EPC.
In addition, We are a qualified Contractor from Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA) on workgroup No. 2301900: Sewerage Odor Control, and workgroup No. 3201200: Supply & Installation of Water Filteration System.
